I accept a ASUS ROG Strix G17 ES94 and information technology also had this same Mediatek crap. I started running into dropped connections and stuttering doing any blazon of gameplay or streaming. I purchased the Intel AX210 from Walmarts website for $28 recently and haven't had a unmarried trouble as well as doubling download speeds. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with a 2022 ASUS laptop containing a Mediatek card. That thing is crap!

I have ROG Strix G17 13IE, I'yard facing the aforementioned issue. My processor is AMD RYZEN 7. tin I use an intel menu on this laptop?

Tysm for the tip! Just replaced mine with the AX210 and already it feels And so much amend. Played a quick game of Overwatch and no issues anymore, with the Mediatek crap I had latency issues every single game

Seeing this only when connecting via Wi-Fi 6, if I drop back to 802.11ac the problem always clears up. I tin can manually clear information technology by switching to 802.11ac and back to 802.11ax in Device Manager just the Wi-Fi vi performance overall is pretty dismal unless you're right side by side to the Wi-Fi AP.

I dealt with this for a week and tried all the workarounds and decided it just wasn't worth information technology. Purchased the Intel AX210 for $28 and problem solved

None of the fixes will piece of work forever for the Mediatek cards. Just switching to the Intel option solves it apace and cheaply. No 1 should accept to deal with the MT nonsense.

Anyone still facing this consequence, Turn off Bluetooth, if it's on and check. I accidently figured it out and information technology works in mine.

Its stupid to fifty-fifty carp RMAing - Asus needs to stop using these cards menses. Burn any cards they have and cut the cord.

I changed my router thinking it was the routers error and solved it, in whatever way I bought a wifi half-dozen one, so it wasn't the router after all?
To exist clear, it works with the wifi 6 router as it should.

I've seen yous mention in the comment higher up, that if you disable 802.11ax and change to ac makes it ameliorate, what speeds are you getting?

Depending on distance that down speed goes upwards to 200-ish on AC. It can go well-nigh 400-500 on AX, but only up close to the AP and when it doesn't problems out. I'm going to switch to AC in Device Manager and promise they release some driver update to fix this but its definitely the stupid Mediatek card. Right at present its totally unreliable to tell whether information technology'll bug out on download with Wi-Fi vi enabled.
My iPad from the same location has no issues connecting via Wi-Fi vi.

Hey man ! My laptop has the same network carte. Can I know the driver version of your network card ?

In that location are only two driver versions that I found on the Asus site - neither is better. I have since swapped the card out and its much ameliorate at present. V3.00.01.1095
